Game guide
The Fandom wiki describes a five-stage career in Bayview. You take a sponsor, drive the open city between markers, and enter circuit, sprint, drag, drift, and street X events. URL races are a later series at the airport and Bayview Speedway, with you plus five opponents. RoninDarky’s GameFAQs guide says a sponsor is required before URL and that winning events unlocks cars. We do not have a reliable per-race cash table, so none is printed. Browser multiplayer races pay a different, documented bank and do not advance this career.

Evidence note: figures attributed only to one publication or to the project's own documentation are single-source reports. The project site, README and playing notes count as one source group. Sources and checked dates are shown with each fact.
I stopped at the URL page when it would have been easy to invent a payout per stage. The only dollar figures I trust on this site are the browser lobby prizes, and they explicitly do not count as career wins. For the 2004 career I can tell you the shape of the mode and where the holes are.
Leave the garage, drive to a marker, and read the card. Early events introduce each race type. Outruns on the road are separate from the marked events and use the game’s own feet meter: 1,000 feet ahead wins. Shops sit on the same map, so a build and a race share one drive. Magazine and DVD covers are photo tasks in the career. The browser build stores those pictures with the profile and warns that another browser may not have the image file even if the cloud lists it.
The Fandom URL page describes a series rather than a single race, on Airport and Bayview Speedway layouts, field of six including you. RoninDarky says you need the sponsor relationship first. I am not listing every track variation or a prize per round. If you need the full bracket, use those two pages. They are the record. This guide will not retype a table it has not checked cell by cell.
A street lobby in the browser project pays 400, 300, 200, and 100 dollars for the first four places and charges 75 if you quit. That money hits the bank and the career checklist does not move. Solo career events still use the 2004 reward script. Do not add the two economies together and call it a strategy.
Finish career events and outruns. The GameFAQs guide discusses sponsors and rewards. We are not reprinting a figure we did not re-check.
After the sponsor requirement RoninDarky describes, inside the later part of the five-stage career. The Fandom page has the format.
On nfsu2.xyz, the free-roam multiplayer race does not. The bank still changes.
RoninDarky’s guide says a starter can last. You still unlock more cars by winning.
GameFAQs and the Fandom wiki. IGN’s career page did not yield a usable extract for this guide, so it is not a source here.
