UNDERGROUND 2 REVIVED

Updates

Underground 2 Revived timeline

The browser project does not have a single launch-day press release. GitHub’s API timestamps the repository th0mk/nfsu2-web at 19 October 2026, 08:47 UTC, with a first commit later that morning. Caradisiac and FSXNOOB place the public appearance on 20 October. TheGamer’s article is 22 October. Commit subjects after that, from the same API snapshot, include Turkish on 25 October, crews on 26 October, and cloud saves plus quick chat on 27 October. The API snapshot showed no GitHub release. Stars were 384, forks 84, open issues 19. Those three counts are a snapshot.

Evidence note: figures attributed only to one publication or to the project's own documentation are single-source reports. The project site, README and playing notes count as one source group. Sources and checked dates are shown with each fact.

What I checked

I am not refreshing the star count on every page view. The numbers above are the research snapshot tied to the GitHub API, and the article dates are the articles. If a commit subject and a video disagree about a feature, both stay. Cloud saves are a good example: the commit is 27 October in our notes, while earlier videos already show local saves.

How to read a fast-moving repo

There is no version number on a release page to quote. The public site updates when you reload and the server answers. PLAYING.md is the behavior we cite, and it can move ahead of this timeline. The checked date on each page is the date of this guide’s pass, not the date of the latest commit.
