The project site is https://nfsu2.xyz/. GitHub for the same work is th0mk/nfsu2-web. On 28 October 2026, nfsu2.xvz, nfsu2.xy, and nfsu2.zyx had no DNS A record in our lookup. nfs2.xyz resolved and returned HTTP 204. www.nfsu2.xyz returned Cloudflare error 522. Those checks go stale. Read the host name before you type a password into anything, and do not type a real password here at all: the project says the Online screen does not check one.

Evidence note: figures attributed only to one publication or to the project's own documentation are single-source reports. The project site, README and playing notes count as one source group. Sources and checked dates are shown with each fact.
I did not click through a typo domain that might be registered tomorrow. The DNS notes in our research file are a dig from 28 October 2026, and I am dating them. The useful habit is the one the project page already forces: the address bar should show nfsu2.xyz, and the start page should offer Play, Saves, and Online rather than an APK button.
Volume clusters around one real host and a lot of near-misses. This table is a check date, not a promise that a typo stays empty.
| Typed name | Status on 28 Oct 2026 | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| nfsu2.xyz | The browser project | Use this |
| www.nfsu2.xyz | 522 on our check | Drop the www |
| nfsu2.xvz / .xy / .zyx | No A record in our dig | Do not invent a fallback |
| nfs2.xyz | Resolved, HTTP 204 | Not the game |
| nfsu2.org | A different single-player port | Read the versions page |
| nfsunderground2.site | PS2 browser port | Different save and a 2-player room |
| nfsu2.net | A guide, not the game | Do not enter a password there either |
A 522 on www is not the same failure as a WebGPU error on the apex host. Try the apex URL in Chrome. If the page loads and Play does nothing, move to the fixes hub: black screen, WebGPU, and low FPS are separate. The project’s error lines carry short codes such as GPU-ADAPTER-WIN. Quote the code if you ask the maintainers. Their contact paths on the site, as audited on 28 October, were Discord, GitHub, Ko-fi, and a legal mailbox. This guide’s mailbox does not administer that server.
The real start page does not ask you to download an APK, disable your antivirus, or type an EA password. The Online menu’s “any password” screen is a leftover of the 2004 UI. The project tells you to type a password you use nowhere else, because it is only lightly scrambled in transit. That is a reason to use a throwaway string, not a reason to trust a look-alike domain that asks for the same thing.
https://nfsu2.xyz/ — the host without www.
It had no A record on 28 October 2026. Do not assume a later registration is the project.
People posted the URL. The post is not the host. Check the address bar.
Our check saw that on www.nfsu2.xyz. Open https://nfsu2.xyz/ without www. If the apex host fails, it is a server-side outage, not a file you can replace.
No. Only the keyphrase on the project site can. See the saves page.
